People tend to not want to do things that we aren’t familiar with, and animals can sometimes be the same way. Horses, for example, may not like being in a crowd the first time if they haven’t been in one before.

But certain things can persuade us to look past our fears and try out something new. Then surprisingly, something that we feared may end up being something that we really enjoy!

If you live in an area where temperatures soar during the summer months, you know that it can be sweltering. These high temperatures can persuade many of us to find a new way of cooling off. Many of us may head to the beach or to the pool in an effort to escape from the heat. Animals are no exception. Which is exactly what leads the horse in the video below to his afternoon ritual.

His owner caught the horse in the act multiple times, but no one believed him that his horse would go for an afternoon dip in the swimming pool. So he decided to try to catch it all on video.

Every day the horse makes his way to his owner’s back yard where he gets in the pool and swims from one end to the other to cool off. After a prompt from his owner, he gets right out of the pool and makes his way back to the field.
