An adorable clip showing two dogs is going viral this week, and it is sure to melt your heart! The video shows an older Golden Retriever having a nightmare, and the way his puppy friend responds is incredibly adorable.

Nightmares are scary enough for humans, so imagine how terrifying they are for dogs who don’t know what is happening. Luckily for this Golden Retriever, however, he has someone there to comfort him when he gets scared.

The video opens with the two animals cuddled up for nap time when the older dog starts to whine.

Sensing that the adult dog is scared, the puppy wakes up and is confused as to what to do at first. Eventually, he decides that the best thing he can do to comfort his terrified counterpart is snuggle up to him. Watching the puppy cuddle up to the bigger dog is one of the purest signs of love that I have ever seen.

“One night I caught my new puppy comforting my older dog during a bad dream,” the owner posted alongside the video. “They are quickly becoming new friends.”

Video of the two dogs has quickly gone viral, being viewed over 13 million times!
