Back in the 1940s, everyone in the small town of Nevada, Iowa loved going to their local movie theater. The theater became something of a social hub as even people from neighboring towns drove in to see movies there!

Clare McIntosh grew up in the nearby town of Colo, and he often went to the movie theater with his friends. At this theater, something happened many years ago that Clare did not notice, and it only just recently resurfaced.

When entrepreneur Larry Sloan purchased the building that the theater was in a few years ago, it was in desperate need of repairs. Larry wanted to transform the theater, which was built in the 1920s, into what he called The Talent Factory, which would be a live performance comedy club.

As Larry and his team were working on their renovations, they pulled up the flooring of the third floor balcony and found an odd looking object. It was only when they pulled the object out that they realized that it was a wallet!

When Larry looked inside the wallet, he found that it belonged to a 15-year-old boy named none other than Clare McIntosh. The wallet contained a pocket calendar dating back to 1944, along with ration stamps from the war and a handwritten ID card. Larry decided that he wanted to track down Clare so that he could return his wallet to him, and he was stunned to find that he still lived in the area!

You have to see Clare’s reaction when he is presented with the wallet that he lost so many years ago! Check it out in the video below!
