Meet Lotus, a Maine coon cat who is so big that he is now the size of a human child!

Maine coon cats are known for being the largest domestic cats, as they continue to grow until they are around four years-old. Male cats of this breed typically end up weighing around 15 to 25 pounds and are about 40 inches long.

Lotus is just three years-old, but he already weighs a massive 22 pounds!

Lotus loves relaxing around the house with his family in Sweden, taking as many naps as he can. He especially loves cuddling with his human sister, who is the same size as he is!

Lotus also loves exploring the great outdoors with his family, which is especially fun in the winter because his fur perfectly blends in with the snow.

“I have a light small voice and I’m gentle in my way. Calm and kind, love my family. Like sleeping on the balcony or on the backrest on the couch. Likes to experience nature and animals,” “Lotus” wrote on his website.

Lotus has a playful demeanor and loves investigating new things, like the washing machine his mother just bought.

“The first time I saw a front-loading washing machine was a bit scary. I didn’t know what was moving in there … You had to be careful, so it wasn’t dangerous,” Lotus wrote.

Lotus has two cat siblings in his home named Lady Marion and Chivaz, and it’s astounding how much bigger he is compared to them.

This is one cool cat! We hope that Lotus has many years of happiness with his family to come!
