Being able to see is something that most of us take for granted every day. With everything going on in our lives, it’s easy to forget that some people don’t have the opportunity to see the beautiful world around us. Videos like this serve as a reminder to not take small things for granted, as simply being able to see means a whole lot to someone who has never been able to before.

The little girl in this video had been born blind and had never been able to see before. Prior to visiting the doctor’s office in this video, she had corrective surgery to fix her eyesight. Since the surgery, she had kept bandages over her eyes to give them a chance to heal, meaning that she had still never seen anything before when this was filmed.

Finally, the big day came for her to go back to the doctor’s office with her mom and have the bandages removed. When the big moment came, the toddler clutched her stuffed animal tightly, as she had no idea what to expect next.

Slowly, the doctor removed the bandages from her face as her mother comforted her and told her that everything was going to be alright. The doctor even helps to calm her by singing to her.

Finally, the bandages are off, and the girl blinks as she adjusts to light for the first time. Finally, she looks around and realizes that she can see!

As the girl looks around the room in wonder, her mother cries tears of joy as she realizes her daughter really can see! Video of this powerful moment has since been viewed over 30 million times, touching the hearts of people all over the world!
