Back in the 1970s, Hollywood star Jeff Bridges was in Montana filming a movie called Rancho Deluxe. Bridges was out shooting a scene at a hot springs when a beautiful young woman suddenly caught his eye.

As soon as Bridges saw a young waitress names Susan Geston, who was waiting tables to pay for college, he immediately fell in love with her.

“I was head over heels the first time I saw her,” Bridges recalled.

Bridges managed to gather the courage to ask Geston out, but she said no, adding that “maybe they’ll see each other around.” A few nights later, Bridges was out at a local bar when he bumped into Geston and asked her to dance. The two spent the rest of the night together, and they have been inseparable ever since!

Once Bridges wrapped filming, Geston moved back to California with him. They have now been married for over forty years and have three children and one grandchild. The couple has also worked on over fifty movies together.

Ten years after marrying Geston, Bridges got an envelope in the mail from the makeup artist who had worked on Rancho Deluxe with him. Two photos fell out of the envelope, and when Bridges looked at them, he could not believe his eyes. To this day, he still keeps the photos in his pocket and takes them with him wherever he goes!

Watch Bridges tell the story himself in the video below. This is a love story that has to be seen to be believed!
