If you love plants but have trouble keeping them alive, we have found the perfect plant for you!

Succulents are a beautiful type of plant that can survive under very harsh condition and need very little care from humans to live. Their unique look has made them quite trendy in recent times, and they’re perfect for the absent-minded plant-lover who sometimes forgets to water his or her plants!

One type of succulent that is getting a lot of attention right now is the Senecio peregrinus, a succulent with tons of tiny leaves that resemble tiny dolphins jumping in the air. The leaves look so much like dolphins that the plant is also known as the Dolphin Succulent!

A hybrid plant, the Dolphin Succulent is a cross between hot dog cactus and string of pearls. You typically have to purchase this rare succulent online, as they are not usually available in nurseries.

The plants can grow as high as 15 cm, and some of them even end up producing “small, starry pink flowers” over time.

Growing this plant is simple, as all you need is a small single leaf. Simply place this leaf in damp soil, and it will quickly develop roots!

Caring for Dolphin Succulents is also very easy. You just need to place the plant in a well-draining pot so the soil doesn’t retain excess moisture. These plants due need some brightness to survive, but it doesn’t need to be direct light. Water dolphin succulents about once a week during their growing season, but only once a month during their dormant time which is the winter time.

There’s nothing quite like seeing the unique creations of Mother Nature!
