An accident-prone koala from South Australia just had to be rescued by Fauna Rescue of South Australia workers for the third time after he found himself stuck in a fence at the SA Power Networks’ Happy Valley substation.

The koala, who is being referred to as a “large male adult,” was rescued from the fence just after 8:30am.

Fauna Rescue volunteer Sally Selwood explained that it looked “like he’s crawled under the fence to go somewhere, as they do, and then sat up as he was under the fence and got his head caught.”

“But he didn’t have the brains to bob back down again to get out,” she added.

The koala’s story has quickly gone viral, with many on the internet being able to relate to him:

The koala first had to be rescued in January of 2016, when he was found “not very responsive” at the bottom of the tree. In November of that year, Fauna Rescue saved him a second time after he was hit by a car.

Hopefully this adorable accident-prone koala has no more bad luck going forward!
