A heartwarming video is going viral this week showing a young boy get a surprise that he was never expecting when he sat down to play “America The Beautiful.”

The boy is in a military family and he sat down to play the song in honor of his brother, who was serving overseas at the time. Halfway through the song, when the boy reached the part of the song that goes “And crown thy good with brotherhood … from sea to shining sea,” he looked over and was stunned to see the brother who he thought was thousands of miles away. His brother had come home early just to surprise him!

The video begins with the boy sitting down to play as his family members film him with their phones. As he begins to play, we can see his brother sneaking in wearing a Marine Corps uniform. The little boy is so focused on playing the song correctly that he does not even notice him!

The serviceman sits right down next to the boy, and finally, the boy looks up from the piano and glances at him.

With a shout, the boy jumps up and embraces the brother that he missed so dearly. He can’t believe that he’s back home safe and sound!

The young boy is so happy that he starts crying tears of joy. The video serves as a reminder of the sacrifices that military families make for their country every day.
