Back in 2017, Beth Chapman beat Stage 2 throat cancer, and both she and her husband Duane Chapman (aka Dog The Bounty Hunter) were hoping that she would never have to deal with cancer again. Sadly, just after she celebrated 12 months of being cancer free, Beth’s cancer came back with a vengeance at the end of 2018.

Weeks after Duane revealed to fans that doctors had told Beth that her cancer was incurable, she took to social media to post an emotional statement. Posted on January 2, the post is alongside a photo of the Chapman house all decorated for the holidays.

“My house is a safe zone,” Beth wrote. “Coffee can be on in minutes, and I’ve always got cold water, a glass of wine, a shot of whiskey, or a cold beer. My table is non-judgmental. Any family or friend who needs to chat is welcome. We can talk, share a laugh, a cry, or just listen. If you’re hungry, I’ll feed you.”

“This is an old-school value that has been lost to technology… A text, facetime, gif, or emoji is NOT the equivalent,” she continued. “I’m hoping at least one friend copies this and posts it if you feel the same. I just did from another friend. The world has become a lonely place.”

We can only hope and pray that Beth is able to beat the odds and defeat her cancer. She is one tough lady, and if anyone can do this, it’s Beth!

Please join us in saying a prayer for Beth and her family during this difficult time.
