Beth Chapman, wife of “Dog The Bounty Hunter” Duane Chapman, is currently fighting for her life two months after her throat cancer returned. Though doctors have told Beth, 51, that her cancer is incurable, she is still putting everything she has into fighting it.

While this has been an extremely difficult time for Beth and the entire Chapman family, she just received some much needed good news when she became a great-grandmother for the first time last Friday. Beth herself took to Instagram to announce the good news.

“My first great grandbaby, he’s adorable and he’s precious and he came 5 weeks early to meet me,” she wrote alongside photos of her with the new baby. “Nothing more beautiful or inspiring than the birth of a new baby. A new Generation Of Chapmans.”

Beth congratulated the baby’s father, 23 year-old Dakota Chapman, as well as his father Leland Chapman, who became a grandfather for the first time with the birth of the child.

“It just gets better,” Beth wrote to Leland.

This comes just two months after Beth received her devastating cancer diagnosis. She first was diagnosed with throat cancer in 2017, and she managed to battle the disease into remission by the end of that year. All seemed to be going well until Beth was rushed to the hospital in 2018 with a blockage in her throat. It was only when doctors operated on her that they found that not only was her cancer back, but it had already spread to her lungs and was now “incurable.”

Beth has already begun chemotherapy treatments, which sources say are going well so far. The sources say that while the treatments are difficult on Beth, she has remained “in good spirits.”

Please keep Beth and the entire Chapman family in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time!
