Rejection is sadly something that we all end up having to deal with in life. While it can be very difficult to handle rejection, it’s hard to be too upset about it when you have an adorable little baby around!

A few years ago, a young father named Marcus was staying home with his infant son Micah as he looked for a new job when he received a letter from one of the companies that he applied to. Marcus was hoping that it would be an interview offer, but when he opened the letter, he was disheartened to see that it was a rejection letter.

Marcus was so frustrated that he quickly ripped the letter in half. He was then stunned to see that the sound made by the ripping letter brought a huge smile to his 8 month-old son’s face. The dad then grabbed his camera and continued ripping the letter so that he could record Micah’s reaction to it. The sound of the ripping paper was like music to the baby boy’s ears!

Since there is no sweeter sound in the world than a baby’s laughter, Marcus could not stay down from the bad news for very long!

When Marcus uploaded the video to social media, he was not expecting it to go viral. It came as a huge surprise to him that the video has since been viewed over 101 million times!

“This video cures depression. No antidepressants necessary,” one social media user commented, with another adding, “If I do have a bad day, I just come here and watch this sweetie baby.”
