A humorous joke is going viral this week that is sure to brighten up your day!

A man who was in his mid-forties had just purchased a new BMW and decided to take it out one night for a drive. He had the top down, and the nighttime breeze was blowing through whatever hair he had left on his head. The man decided to increase the speed that he was driving, and as soon as he hit 80 mph, he suddenly saw flashing red and blue lights behind him.

“There’s no way they can catch a BMW,” the man thought to himself, and he continued to increase the speed past 90 mph and even 100! Finally, the man realized that fleeing the police was a bad idea, so he slowed down and eventually pulled over.

The police officer then walked up to him and looked at his license and his car without saying anything. Eventually, the cop said, “It’s been a long day, this is the end of my shift and it’s Friday the 13th. I don’t feel like more paperwork, so if you can give me an excuse for your driving that I haven’t heard before, you can go.”

“Last week my wife ran off with a cop,” the man said to him. “I was afraid you were trying to give her back.”

“Have a nice weekend,” the officer said as he walked away.
