Miniature versions of all sorts of animals aren’t uncommon. We’ve seen tiny dogs, horses, and even pigs. But now we’ve got the chance to see something that is very special indeed….a tiny cow. Cows are pretty amazing creatures anyway. They can be taught to do all sorts of amazing things, but as a general rule, they’re pretty darn big. But that’s not the case with one little cow.

Lil’ Bill is the smallest cow in the world and he’s been melting hearts around the world. Although he looks just like a regular calf, he weighs in at just under 10 pounds making him the size of a domestic cat. This little calf was taken to the Mississippi State University College of Veterinary Medicine by his owners who says he weighs just one-tenth of what a normal calf his age should weigh.

After being checked out by the vet, they discovered that Lil’ Bill isn’t sick or suffering, he’s just simply a whole lot tinier than other calves. The vets who are taking care of him say that Lil’ Bill is one of those cases that makes them scratch their heads.

Although Lil’ Bill is tiny, he’s got quite a following on social media and it’s easy to see why. The little guy is absolutely beautiful! How could you not love him?

The vets are still trying to determine a diagnosis for the little calf and are giving him lots of love and attention. They say they will be updating everyone on his prognosis, so keep your eyes and ears open.
