As a parents, buying presents for your little ones can be tough, as they often seem to love the toy one moment only to toss it aside the next. That’s why this mother and father went in with low expectations when they surprised their toddler son with tons of birthday presents, and they got a reaction from him that they never expected!

Video of the boy’s reaction has since gone viral, as people all over the world have been touched by the fact that he clearly appreciates each and every gift that came his way.

Most parents try and teach their children the basics of manners, like saying please and thank you. While this is a good start, it’s also important to teach them about sharing.

Barbara Coloroso, a parenting educator, said that it’s important to teach your child about the impact that they have on others, and to praise them when they do something good.

“So instead of saying, ‘I’m so proud of you for sharing that doll with your sister,’ say, ‘Thank you for sharing that doll. Look how happy your sister is to play with that.’ Thank them for sharing a cracker with you. Tell them you were really hungry and now you feel much better. By stroking the deed instead of the child, you’ll help him understand the impact of his actions,” she said.

These parents have clearly already taught their child to appreciate everything he gets in life!

It often seems that there are more and more spoiled children in the world today, so it’s nice to see two parents who are raising their child well!
