Christmas is just a couple of weeks away which means it is the time of year to get wrapped up in all the Christmas tunes you can get your hands on. It’s always more fun to do marathon cooking and wrap presents when you’re listening to beautiful Christmas music. But with all the hustle and bustle of the holidays, it is easy to forget the true meaning of Christmas.

But one popular music group is doing their part to put everyone’s attention back onto the true meaning of Christmas and remind everyone about the power of Jesus Christ.

Celtic Thunder recently performed a powerful version of “Hallelujah” and you can’t help but put your attention right back on what Christmas really is all about. Vocalist Damian McGinty explained that although they travel the world, they continue to challenge themselves and deliver an amazing performance no matter where they go, and they definitely nailed this one.

David Munro, the musical director for the group, also plays a huge part in what the group performs. He says that they use the fundamental skills of the members and then build on those skills to make something that everyone will remember.

The group allows each of the individuals in Celtic Thunder to shine, as well as come together as a group. In the video below, they bring their amazing voices together to bring perfect harmony to Leonard Cohen’s iconic Christmas tune.

Although this song has been done hundreds of times, this one might be one of the best ones yet. Check out their performance of “Hallelujah” below and be sure to share it with your family and friends.
