If you’re not familiar with the musical group Pentatonix there’s no time like the present to get familiar with them. This group sings all of their songs a cappella, even the beat in the background is created by their talented vocals.

This group is known for singing a variety of songs, but some of the fan’s favorites are their Christmas specials. They recently appeared on American Idol for a very special performance with Jennifer Hudson. Although the stage is set for Christmas with decorated trees, lights, and presents, the song they sing isn’t a Christmas classic. Dressed in their red, black, and white attire, they join Hudson in singing the hymn “How Great Thou Art.”

Hudson, in typical fashion, doesn’t miss a single beat and her voice blends perfectly with the members of the group. She starts out singing solo, but eventually is joined with one of the members of Pentatonix. Little by little, the other members of the group join in and the sound is absolute perfection.
