An adorable video is going viral this week showing a group of monkeys in India team up to save the life of a leopard who was drowning.

The video opens with the monkeys playing together outside. The monkeys soon realize that something is not right as they run over to a well and look inside it.

The monkeys manage to attract the attention of some men, who run over to the well and peer inside as well. It does not take them long to realize why the monkeys were so upset.

Sure enough, a drowning leopard was trapped in the water! The men quickly called in a rescue team to come save the leopard.

The rescue team took precautions while saving the leopard. It’s important to never look a leopard in the eyes, as they see this as a challenge and will immediately attack.

Nevertheless, the rescue team drops a wooden ladder into the well to help out the cat.

Forest ranger Devendra Singh Rathore said that the rescue operation “lasted about an hour,” and he believes the leopard fell into the well while hunting at night.

Finally, they got the leopard out of the well, and the cat immediately ran away to freedom. The rescue team cheered loudly about the success of the rescue!

Video of the rescue has quickly gone viral, touching the hearts of people all over the world. Check out the rescue for yourself in the video below!
