You see tiny houses everywhere these days. This little mobile houses have become increasingly popular for a variety of reasons. Not only are they mobile, but they are typically much less expensive to buy and own than a traditional home.

These little houses have comfortable places to sleep, a place to store your necessary belongings, little kitchens to store and prepare your food, and much more. But for one man, he’s taken the tiny home movement to a whole new level. Paul Elkin says he became fascinated with the tiny house movement years ago.

Although he’d been watching and reading about tiny houses, he wanted to take the tiny house movement to a new level. He wanted to have a tiny home that could be mobile, but wouldn’t require the power of a vehicle to move from location to location.

That’s when he decided to build a micro camper of his own. The result was a tiny camper that is so small and light that he can pull it around the country using nothing more than his bicycle. This might sound a bit odd, but for Elkin it is exactly what he wanted. It has a space to sleep in, a bookshelf and drawers to store necessities in, and a tiny kitchen to store and prepare his food.

This home is not just tiny and functional, but he built it for just $150. He started his project by finding affordable materials that would also be light weight.

It is constructed out of old campaign signs that were free. Many other materials were purchased at a big discount. A bit of paint, some insulation, a few extras for the inside and Elkin was ready to roll…literally.

Check out the video below that shows you the inside of the camper and step by step how he built the micro camper of his dreams. You never know when you might need one of these. Be sure to share this unique story with your family and friends.
