Kevin Richardson has always loved lions, which is why he did not hesitate to rescue two cups named Meg and Amy when he had the chance to do so!

Seven years later, Kevin returned to check up on the two lions he had rescued when they were cubs, and what happened next surprised everyone.

Meg and Amy had to have humans teach them how to hunt and survive after their rescue. Kevin was a bit nervous when he returned to the rescue center to see them. Since it had been so many years since he rescued them, he had no idea how the two lionesses would react.

Kevin’s team managed to track down one of the lionesses and put a GoPro camera around her belly. They did not want to miss a single moment of this reunion!

Kevin saw the lioness wade into a river, and he jumped in with no fear. Once he had done this, however, the lioness disappeared and it was unclear what she was doing.

For a moment, it seemed as if the lioness was going to attack her human friend. Thankfully, this was not her intention at all! Instead, it quickly became clear that she had never forgotten Kevin, and their reunion was incredibly touching.

The two lionesses may be wild animals, but they never forgot the human hero who rescued them so many years ago. Video of their reunion has quickly gone viral, touching the hearts of people all over the world!
