Earlier this month, the town of North Little Rock in Arkansas held an event that gave children the chance to interact with police officers in a beautiful way.

The event was called “Shop with a Cop,” and it was held at a Walmart in the area. During the event, a little girl surprised everyone when she walked up to a cop and proceeded to give an unforgettable performance!

Officer Matthew Peach explained that this was the 13th annual “Shop With A Cop” event, and each child was given $200 from community donations to shop around the store.

This year, 10 year-old Annie Zimmerman was asked to perform, and she certainly did not disappoint! As soon as she started to sing “The Star-Spangled Banner,” everyone in the store knew that this was going to be a very special performance.

Once she started to sing, Annie did not seem like a little girl anymore. Instead, she seemed like a musical superstar singing at a massive concert!

Video of Annie’s performance has quickly gone viral, touching the hearts of people all over the globe.

“Bet your mother is proud. I am and I don’t even know you, my granddaughter thinks your amazing. Merry Christmas,” one social media user wrote, with another adding, “From the mom of a Soldier….Crying listening to this sweet little girl sing our National Anthem! You are amazing sweetheart!”

“Someone should send this to the NFL and have her sing the National Anthem for the Super Bowl..” a third user wrote.
