2018 was a very difficult year for the entire Bush family, as both George H.W. and Barbara Bush passed away. In the midst of her grief, Jenna Bush Hager recently celebrated her tenth wedding anniversary with her husband, Henry Hager, who she married a decade ago at her grandparents’ ranch in Crawford, Texas.

As she celebrated her anniversary, Jenna took to social media to tell her fans just how much her husband means to her.

Jenna met Henry during her father’s 2004 presidential campaign, and they became engaged three years later. They have since become parents to two daughters, Margaret “Mila” Laura who is 5 years old, and Poppy Louise who is 2.

Jenna posted some photos from her wedding on Instagram along with the caption, “The best anniversary gift from my husband: pictures from 10 years ago of my grandparents at our wedding. A reminder: Life is precious and goes by too fast.”

Included in the photos were images of both George H.W. and Barbara, who met when they were just 16 years-old and were married for 76 years.

Another photo showed Henry wiping away tears as he stood at the altar during their 2008 wedding.

“TEN years with this one by my side,” Jenna wrote. “Could never imagine on that day in May how beautiful life would be. Love you H.”

Social media users were touched by the photos.

“Perfection. What a thoughtful gesture. I love the intimacy and knowing required to make such a sweet selection. Congratulations,” one social media user wrote, with another adding, “Oh Jenna. The final chapter(s) of your book describing the last few years with your grandparents made me cry. I love them as if they were my own. Thank you for sharing your life with us through beautiful words.”

“Not many grandparents live to see their grandkids marry and have kids,” a third user added. “Both of them had that pleasure! Happy Anniversary!”

Please keep the entire Bush family in your thoughts and prayers as they continue to mourn the losses of George H.W. and Barbara!
