Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell are one of the longest lasting couples in Hollywood. The duo met on the set of the movie The One and Only, Genuine, Original Family Band, and they have been together ever since 1983!

After starring in the 1968 film, Goldie and Kurt did two more movies together: 1984’s Swing Shift, and the 1987 hit Overboard. The two have not made a movie together since then, until now!

Goldie and Kurt have just starred in the holiday hit The Christmas Chronicles, which can currently be seen on Netflix! The movie had over 20 million streams in it’s first week alone, which Netflix’s chief content officer Ted Sarandos compared to big box office movies.

“If every one of those was a movie-ticket purchase, that’s a $200 million opening week,” he said.

It should be noted that Star Wars: The Force Awakens is the movie with the highest grossing opening week on record, at $248 million. Yes, Goldie and Kurt’s first movie together in 31 years is doing that well!

The film is a family movie that tells the story of children trying to help Santa save Christmas. Kurt plays Santa Claus, while Goldie plays a very sultry version of Mrs. Claus. The couple’s son Oliver appears in the movie as well, as does their grandson Bing Bellamy.

Kurt and Goldie have been getting rave reviews for their performances, and fans are hoping that this is the beginning of many more collaborations together between them! This is a film that the whole family can enjoy together. Check out the trailer below!
