There’s nothing young people love more these days than taking selfies, and it’s been estimated that they take an astounding 93 million selfies every day!

One father from Washington was sick and tired of seeing his daughter Cassie constantly posting selfies online, so he decided to teach her a lesson! Chris Burr Martin is a 48 year-old father of three who has become a viral sensation with what he did to teach his daughter how ridiculous her selfies are.

“I thought, ‘Wow, that should be toned down […] But rather than throw water on the fire, I decided, ‘Okay, I’ll dress up like she did with stuff from around the house and post my own photo,'” Chris said.

Chris copied Cassie’s selfies exactly, right down to every little detail!

The father went so far as to give himself fake tattoos and make Cassie’s accessories himself at home!

In one of the best photos, Chris used a scarecrow to stand in for Cassie’s boyfriend!

Chris even got his belly button pierced so that he could better mimic Cassie!

Chris has now been doing this for a year, and he said that Cassie has started to change her ways because of it.

“Cassie has toned down her own selfies a little bit and she’s now more aware of the impact of them,” he said. “So now, I guess I’m still doing this more in fun because everyone seems to get such a kick out of it.”
