Robert Guthrie is a man who recently teamed up with his son to do something that left his family and friends stunned.

When Robert learned that a run-down gas station that was almost 100 years old was up for sale, he came up with a very unique idea for it. Robert and his son went to work transforming the 2,000 square-foot space into a home for them to live in!

In the video below this story, you’ll see Robert give a tour of his home, which used to be Sinclair Gasoline. Robert has added quite a bit to the home, including a roof deck, a hydraulic-lift turned staircase, a jacuzzi, and a full-modern kitchen. Thanks to his hard work, the gas station has become a gorgeous living space that anyone would be lucky to call home!

“I am 61 and have dreamed of doing this since I was very young! I am a car guy so I would have incorporated at least One working bay lift, but that just me! Hats off brah, You did it RIGHT! Good on ya! Thanks for sharing, take care,” one social media user commented, with another adding, “What a fun space. I like how the modern meets the restored.”

“I love when folks live in something other than your traditional home,” a third user wrote. “My husband who has restored several old cars would really like this. I do too. Really unique abode.”

It really is incredible to see what people can make homes out of these days! Take a tour of Robert’s gas station home in the video below!
