Sometimes, medical miracles happen that can’t be explained by medicine and can only be attributed to God. This story is an example of that, as doctors are completely baffled as to how a little girl’s inoperable brain tumor suddenly vanished completely.

Back in June Roxli Doss, 11, and her family were devastated when she was diagnosed with diffuse intrinsic pontine glioma, or DIPG. Though there is no cure for this, Roxli went through radiation treatments anyway to try and shrink the tumor in any way she could.

“It is very rare, but when we see it, it is a devastating disease,” said Dr. Virginia Harrod, who works at Dell Children’s Medical Center in Austin, Texas. “You have decreased ability to swallow, sometimes vision loss, decreased ability to talk, eventually difficulty with breathing.”

Meanwhile, Roxli’s parents Gena and Scott prayed to God for a miracle.

“And we got it,” Gena said, with Scott adding, “Praise God we did.”

Harrod recalls the moment she saw that Roxli’s tumor was gone.

“When I first saw Roxli’s MRI scan, it was actually unbelievable,” said Dr. Harrod. “The tumor is undetectable on the MRI scan, which is really unusual.”

Harrod and her colleagues could not explain medically how the tumor had gone away. Her family, however, is attributing her recovery to God.

“Everyday we still say it,” Gena said. “It’s kind of our family thing that God healed Roxli.”

“We didn’t know how long she would be healthy and, look at her, she’s just doing awesome,” Scott continued.

God bless you, Roxli, we wish you the best of luck going forward! Find out more about this incredible story in the video below.
