A loving bus driver has become a viral sensation after the internet learned of his generosity. What he did for the students who he drives to and from school each day is heartwarming.

Curtis Jenkins has been working as a bus driver in Dallas, Texas for seven years, and he loves the students that he drives so much that he wanted to do something special for them for Christmas. His first idea was to host a gift exchange, but his wife pointed out that some of the kids’ parents may not be able to afford presents, so he came up with an even better idea!

Curtis decided to start saving money from all of his paychecks so he could buy Christmas gifts for all seventy of the children that he drives to and from Lake Highlands Elementary School. He asked each and every student what they wanted for Christmas, and on the last day before winter break, Curtis loaded up his bus with each of the wrapped presents to hand out to the kids!

“When I opened that door, one of the kids asked me, ‘Are you Santa?’” Curtis said. “Seeing those faces on the kids was more than anything I could ever do with the money.”

The school took to social media to tell the world what Curtis did.

“This is Curtis Jenkins, a bus driver for our school,” they wrote in a post that has since gone viral. “He asked every kid on the bus what they wanted for Christmas and then BOUGHT IT FOR THEM! There was even a bike on that bus!!! This reminds us how much good there is in the world and how we should all strive to be a little more like Curtis.”

God bless Curtis for doing something so generous to make these kids’ holiday season even better!
