Every child looks forward to Christmas morning. They can’t wait to see what Santa has left underneath the Christmas tree for them. They look forward to seeing if they got everything on their wish list.

For one little boy, the only thing he wanted for Christmas just wasn’t something his mom or Santa could easily make happen. While most little kids want toys, that wasn’t the case for Xander. Xander is a military kid, and he and his family know first hand just how hard it can be to spend the holidays away from the ones they love. Having a parent be deployed over Christmas can be pretty tough.

For Christmas, all Xander wanted was for his dad to come home. On December 14th, his aunt, Jadin Hart, shared a video on Twitter showing exactly what happened when Xander was granted his wish. With lots of family standing around to watch, Xander sees a huge present wrapped up beside the Christmas tree. It’s so big in fact, that it won’t even fit under the tree.

Xander couldn’t imagine what was under the tree, and as he opens it, he still can’t quite figure it out. That’s when he pulls the tissue out of the box and something amazing comes out of the box.
