Photos of a beach on the Canary Islands where sand looks like popcorn is going viral this week, as people all over the globe cannot get enough of it!

The beach is so beautiful that it looks good enough to eat!

Located in the town of Corralejo in Fuerteventura, the town is called “Popcorn Bay” or “Popcorn Beach.” The popcorn-like sand is really miniature white corals that got washed to the shore.

The corals get their unique shape from the sea and friction of being tossed around. When they reach the shore, the corals are dusted with volcanic ash and sand, which makes them look like popcorn with black pepper on it.

While this beach has been around a long time, it only recently caught the attention of Instagram users.

If I had some butter, I might just want to eat this beach!
