Co-parenting is a very difficult thing for divorced couples, as it forces them to put their differences aside and come together to raise a child.

The best exes are able to get along for the sake of their child, and that’s exactly what Brandon Carpenter and his ex-wife have done!

Brandon is the father of a beautiful baby girl who he would do anything for. Though he is divorced from her mother, his ex is still a part of his life as they are co-parenting their daughter. When Brandon recently went to his ex’s house to drop off some medication for their daughter, he saw something that got him thinking.

“My child’s mother said our daughter isn’t feeling well and needs some Tylenol,” he recounted on Facebook. “I bring her infant Tylenol and notice her fridge is completely empty other than some water.”

Brandon was saddened to see that his daughter’s mother was struggling to make ends meet, so he took action.

“She works a full-time job and then has my daughter. She pays rent and all her bills plus she is paying off a car,” Brandon continued. “I went shopping to make sure she had food for the next few weeks.”

Brandon went on to explain why he did this.

“Just because we aren’t together doesn’t mean I can’t provide for her if she needs it,” he wrote alongside the receipt showing the items that he bought.

“If my child’s mother is good then I know she is taking care of our daughter the best she can and that makes me happy,” Brandon explained. “Some of yall think, ‘I’m going to provide for my child, f*** the mother,’ but that’s thinking like a child. It’s time to grow up and take responsibility in all aspects of life!”

The post quickly went viral, with people all over the world praising Brandon for what he did.

Brandon’s little girl is very lucky to have a father like him!
