Oftentimes, all we ever hear about on the news nowadays is how awful and negative the world can be. To counter the barrage of sensationalized negative stories all around us, we’ve gathered eight of the best acts of kindness that will uplift your day and prove there are still good in this world.

A man who was rushed to the hospital has no family nearby, so his Uber driver Benji has been keeping him company every day!

Eight years ago, this police officer talked this man out of committing suicide. Recently, the man got the opportunity to present the officer with an award from the American Foundation of Suicide.
