Chelsea Banton was born five weeks prematurely, which led to her having health problems for much of her early life.

In 2008, when Chelsea was 14 years-old, her mother Colleen realized that her daughter’s health was declining very quickly. Chelsea could no longer breathe on her own after she got double pneumonia, kidney failure, a collapsed lung, and a staph infection. Doctors told her mother that she would likely not survive for very long.

Feeling like she had no other option, Chelsea’s mother made the agonizing decision to take her off life support, and her family gathered around her to say goodbye. Just as they were saying what they thought would be their last goodbyes to her, a strange sight popped up on the unit’s security camera.

The mysterious image appeared on the monitor about an hour after doctors turned off Chelsea’s life support. Nurses saw a big, bright white light appearing outside of Chelsea’s doorway, and they immediately ran to her room to see what it was. When they got there, they realized that the image only showed on the screen, and they came to the conclusion that it must be an angel!

One of the nurses brought Colleen over to the monitor to show her the apparition, and she concluded that it was an angel as well. When Colleen returned to her daughter’s room, she was stunned to see a miracle happen right before her eyes!
