Becki-Jo is a woman from England who was already the mother of a little girl named Indiana when she got pregnant again. Since Becki-Jo had experienced pregnancy before, she knew immediately that there was something very different about this one.

“I had been being very sick and had a really bad headache so I booked an early scan and that was when I found out I was expecting triplets. It was the biggest shock of my life,” Becki-Jo said. “We haven’t got any triplets in the family so it came completely out of the blue.”

Becki-Jo’s family and friends gave her a lot of support as she prepared to welcome her three little ones.

At just 31 weeks of her pregnancy, Becki-Jo was rushed to the hospital to give birth to her triplets, who she named Rocco, Roman, and Rohan. Unfortunately, the little boys weren’t healthy initially.

“When they were born Rocco was 3lbs 5, Roman was 3lbs 6 and Rohan was 3lbs 10,” Becki-Jo said.

The triplets spent the next three weeks at the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU).

When doctors looked at the boys’ faces, they immediately realized that they were identical! This is incredibly rare in triplets, which makes Becki-Jo’s boys even more special.

Becki-Jo said that as the boys got older, they started to look even more alike.

“I was always convinced they weren’t because that’s what I had been told during my pregnancy,” she said. “I got in touch with a company who sent me some swabs and within three days of me sending them back they told me the boys were identical…We don’t get anywhere fast because people are always stopping us when we’re out and asking if they are identical.”

“I don’t get them mixed up – it’s only when they’re asleep that they look the same to me. They all have completely different personalities,” she continued.

Becki-Jo went on to say that the triplets each have their own personality.

“Rohan is the loud one, he’s always shouting. Rocco is normally quite laid-back, but he can be feisty too, while Roman is usually complaining that he doesn’t want to share,” the proud mother said. “They’re always crawling about after the same toy, trying to get to it before their brothers do. Indiana loves them, she’s not one bit jealous – I do feel a bit sorry for her when I think what it’s going to be like growing up with three little brothers though!”

Indiana loves being a big sister to the little boys!

We wish these adorable little boys the best of luck in life!
