All cat owners know that felines can sometimes do crazy things. Now, one cat has become a viral sensation after she was caught on camera doing her best impression of a slinky as she went down a set of stairs!

In the video, the cat epitomizes laziness, as he won’t even lift his head! He proceeds to go down the stairs head first as the rest of his body slumps down to each step. He looks just like the slinky toys that many of us grew up playing with!

The cat eventually just gives up and ends up laying on one of the lower stairs. It seems that it’s quite exhausting to be a house cat!

Social media users can’t get enough of the video, with some presenting their theories as to why the cat is so lazy.

“Some cats seem to get a kind of cataplexy (pardon the pun) when they are kneeding, purring, marking their territory, or having their fur brushed or stroked,” one social media user wrote. “My cat demands attention, but nearly falls off the sofa if you offer it. Maybe this one was rubbing its jaw on the stair treads and got a little too into it.”

“Maybe he has got arthritis in his paws in which case he would not be able to walk down the stairs – when my RA is active in my feet the only way down stairs is on my bum feet can’t take the force,” another added.
