Internet users are livid over a viral story about a man who proposed to his girlfriend right in the middle of her first marathon.
Kaitlyn Curran had spent months training for the New York City Marathon. When it came time for her to run it earlier this month, she was not expecting her now-fiancé Dennis Galvin to pop the question right in the middle of it.
Video of Dennis’s proposal went viral but not all internet users were happy about it.

Internet users immediately slammed Dennis for choosing to propose to his girlfriend while she was trying to run a marathon.

Others pointed out how much work Kaitlyn must have put in to train for this marathon, only to have Dennis stop her in the middle of it.
