California is still in crisis mode over the wildfires that have wreaked havoc on the state, killing 42 people and destroying countless homes. Firefighters and first responders have been putting their lives on the line to battle these wildfires and save the lives of others.

Now, chef Guy Fieri is giving back to these firefighters in a big way.

Last weekend, Fieri dropped everything to head to Butte County, California, where the Camp Fire emergency workers, including law enforcement officials, firefighters and volunteers, are staged. There, he cooked them a home cooked meal to thank them for all that they are doing!

“Guy Fieri made a surprise visit to serve dinner to everyone at the law enforcement staging area at Butte College,” the Butte County Sheriff’s office tweeted alongside photos of Fieri and the workers on Sunday night. “Thank you so much Guy for filling our bellies and lifting our spirits.”

“Guy Fieri is in this photo with Officer Joe Almeida up in Butte County #CampFire Guy is cooking pulled pork dinner for everyone this evening,” added the Auburn Police Department. “Thank you Guy for your time, support and great food!”

We applaud Guy Fieri for taking the time to help out the people who are doing everything they can to fight these wildfires!
