Bandit the dog was a beloved member of the Callaghan family ever since they rescued him. He had led a rough life, and this family was his fourth home, but the Callaghans always did everything they could to make him happy.

During the 15 years that he was alive, Bandit had numerous health problems and countless surgeries. When he finally passed away, the Callaghans were devastated to lose him.

Just two days after Bandit’s death, his mother noticed something that gave her chills. His water bowl had been left out, since the family was too busy grieving to pick it up, and she was stunned to look down at it and see that the remaining water had formed a smiley face.

The Callaghan family chose to look at this as a sign that everything was going to be alright in the wake of the death of their beloved dog. Their daughter Catie snapped a photo of the bowl and posted it to Twitter, where it quickly went viral, touching the hearts of people all over the world.

Someone else responded to Catie’s tweet by writing, “I had the same thing! Early 2015; cried on the drive to work because I missed my dog. Looked down & saw this.”

These posts are making people think that doggie heaven exists after all, and our beloved pets are trying to send us messages that everything is going to be alright in the wake of their passing!
