“The Brady Bunch” was one of the most beloved sitcoms of 1970s, and it is still watched by millions of fans in reruns to this day.

On Thursday, the show’s siblings Barry Williams (Greg), Maureen McCormick (Marcia), Christopher Knight (Peter), Eve Plumb (Jan), Mike Lookinland (Bobby) and Susan Olsen (Cindy) all reunited for the first time in fifteen years as HGTV debuted the new series “A Very Brady Renovation.” The show will focus on restoring the classic home where the sitcom was filmed, giving it a 1970s vibe on the inside and the outside!

The Brady siblings were joined by “Property Brothers” stars Jonathan and Drew Scott, “Good Bones” star Mina Starsiak and Karen E Laine, “Flea Market Flip” star Lara Spencer, “Restored by the Fords” siblings Leanne and Steve Ford and “Hidden Potential” star Jasmine Roth.

“What’s so exciting about this project is that we are creating one of the most iconic homes from many of our viewers’ childhoods,” said Loren Ruch, senior vice president, HGTV programming and partnerships. “It will be the first time in history that the house from all of our memories will be created in a real brick and mortar location. It is certain to be a trip down memory lane.”

HGTV bought the home for $3.5 million back in August, when it was being bid on by other celebrities like Lance Bass.

“I’m a huge Brady fan, so I wanted to turn the house into what we all knew from the television show because all they did was use it for exterior,” the singer explained. “The inside looks nothing like it, so I was gonna add a lot of square footage, add a second floor and try to turn it into that iconic set.”

Bass has been consoled by hopping on to help produce the new HGTV show.

“There’s a lot of things that have to be done before we can start remodeling it, so it’s going to take a year or two,” Bass said. “The fans came to my rescue. They saw how hosed I got. They forced HGTV’s hand to get me involved.”

McCormick, who played Marcia, is happy that HGTV has the home.

“If anyone’s gonna redo that house, who could be more perfect than HGTV?” she said. “I’m a big fan of their network. I’m sure that they will do a great job.”

We can’t wait to see how this renovation turns out!
