When Jenny Darren appeared on Britain’s Got Talent, this 68-year-old retired lady proved that age is just a number. She says she’s been singing since she was just 12, and her performance proves it.

Jenny says she first was into rock music and is a huge fan of AC/DC. She says the band had a huge impact on her life. In the late 70’s, she was their supporting act. In fact, she released four albums with features that included celebrities like Nicko McBrain, the drummer from Iron Maiden.

Eventually, she says she crossed over into classical and jazz music too. But her performance on the hit television show was a huge success and it’s easy to see why. Even Simon Cowell appeared to enjoy it.

When she first sets foot on stage, she looks like a typical elderly lady, but before her performance begins, she strips off the outer layer to reveal a black leather skirt, boots, and t-shirt. Not what anyone was expecting at all.
