It was the year 1988 when actor Tom Hanks jumped onto an enormous keyboard and played the song “Chopsticks” in the movie Big. It became an iconic movie scene that people are still talking about years later.

So in 2013, when Hanks appeared on The Jonathan Ross Show to promote his new movie Captain Phillips, Ross asked him to recreate the famous scene.

When Ross pulled back the carpet, Hanks immediately knew what he needed to do, and he even played a few notes with his feet before Ross asked him to pick up the pace with a faster song.

Immediately, Hanks and Ross join together to play a classic duet with their feet. It is easy to see in the video that both of them have natural talent when it comes to playing the piano.

Finally, the moment comes for Hanks to play “Chopsticks”, but he needs a partner. Luckily, an old friend is back stage and quickly jumps in to do her part.

Sandra Bullock and Hanks starred together in the 2011 movie Extremely Loud & Incredibly Close and have been good friends since. So it only made sense for her to fill in next to him.

Hanks asks her to join him, but is a bit concerned about her high heels, to which she quickly informs him that it will be fine. Without hesitation the two begin playing “Chopsticks” and the crowd roars.

Check out the incredible video of their performance below and be sure to share it with your family and friends. They won’t want to miss this little trip back in time.
