The saying goes, “Fight like cats and dogs”, but that’s not always true. Not all cats and dogs fight. In fact, plenty of homes have dogs and cats that live together in perfect harmony.

Though historically we may think of them as mortal enemies, the ones that share homes together often play together and become great friends. The lovable duo in the video below definitely fits into that category.

In the video, you will see Jessie the dog and River the cat playing together. Some people say that cats are smarter than dogs, and from the looks of the video that might be the case.

The cat and dog are having a standoff next to a pop up tube. The cat runs into the tube and the dog immediately starts pouncing on the tube to get the cat to come out.

What the dog didn’t see is that the cat ran right on through the tube and right past her. The dog is clearly puzzled at the strange turn of events. The cat on the other hand, is probably quite pleased with himself as he sits at the end of the couch and watches the dog’s confusion.
