Halloween is just right around the corner, so we know as the holiday gets closer we’ll see more and more fright-inducing sights. But if you saw a crocodile chasing after you, your first thought wouldn’t likely be that it must be a Halloween prank.

So when one little dog dressed up as a ferocious crocodile and took a run through several local neighborhoods, you can just imagine how people reacted.

They were on full blown freak out mode and it is hilarious. Especially since we know what is really going on. What the people don’t know is that inside the scary costume, is an adorable little French bulldog.

When the video went viral a few years ago, it was part of a Brazilian television prank show, but since Halloween is so close, it’s worth giving it another watch. Because the little bulldog can’t be seen, people run from him in fright.

Although the barking noises should have been an indicator that this wasn’t a killer crocodile, the noises didn’t seem to slow people down too much. They just kept running.

The video has been viewed 2.7 million times since being posted on YouTube, which proves that people love a good prank. The best part is, if you wanted to get in on the fun, you could do the same thing by dressing up your furry friend.
