Florida scientists have just discovered that a lavender plant can help to relieve anxiety, tension headaches, and other forms of stress.

The plant can help stabilize your mood, as it includes properties like anti-depressants, sedative, detoxifying, anti-fungal, and anti-inflammatory. Simply adding lavender to a drink can have a very positive impact on your mood. We recommend making lavender lemonade if you are feeling stressed or have a headache!

The only ingredients that you need to make this are 1 cup of raw honey, 5 cups of water, 1 Tbsp. dried, culinary lavender (or 1/4 cup fresh lavender blossoms, crushed), and 1 cup lemon juice.

First, boil 2 1/2 cups water in a medium pan and then remove the heat and add honey, stirring it to make sure it dissolves. Add the lavender to the mixture and let it sit for at least 20 minutes or up to several hours, to taste. Strain the mixture and take out the lavender before pouring the infusion into a glass pitcher.

Once you have done this, add lemon juice and another 2 1/2 cups of cold water. Stir this well and refrigerate it until you are ready to drink it.

If you want to give it some color, add a little bit of butterfly pea powder.

You can also add some mint to it to give it some additional flavor.

Drinking this lavender lemonade is sure to get rid of your headache in no time. Oh, and it will also taste great as well!
