Maelyn Player has a loving mom and dad, but that’s not what has caught everyone’s attention. She also has a loving stepmom and stepdad. She’s like millions of other kids in the U.S. that are from “broken” homes.

But the four-year-old’s “broken” home isn’t like many other such homes. Even though Maelyn’s parents are no longer together as a couple, they are still a spectacular support team for her.

Maelyn’s mother, Clara Cazeau, and her father, Ricky Player, split up several years ago and are both remarried. Despite their differences, they both know how important co-parenting their daughter is. They decided a long time ago to do what’s best for her no matter what.

Clara says that she and her husband, as well as Ricky and his new wife are always around each other because it’s the best thing for Maelyn, which is why the picture they recently posted has gone viral.

She says they do birthdays together for Maelyn, holidays, go to each other’s homes, and just spend a lot of time together doing all sorts of things. They even go to soccer games together.

Their co-parenting style became visible to everyone when Ricky’s wife, Emilee, posted a photo of the four parents at one of Maelyn’s soccer game. She says the photo is what is typical of Maelyn’s soccer games, even though once in a while they may be short one parent.

While it may seem odd to other people, Maelyn’s parents know that what they’re doing is the right thing to do. Clara says that co-parenting really isn’t as hard as it may seem, but it definitely takes work.

What do you think about their lifestyle? I think Clara, Alex, Ricky, and Emilee are a great example of what should happen when a couple gets divorced. All kids deserve this. Be sure to share this with your family and friends.
