Orawan Kaewla-iat is a woman from Thailand who has spent years feeding the stray dogs near her home. Now, the way that one of these dogs reacted to her kindness is going viral, touching the hearts of people all over the world.

Each day, Orawan puts out bowls of rice for the stray dogs in the area to snack on. One day, a dog named Tua Plu and his mother started showing up at Orawan’s home. Orawan was stunned that before Tua Plu enjoyed her food, he made sure to give her a present!

“When he’s hungry, he will offer something to get fed,” Orawan wrote on Facebook. “Every day he shows up with an object in his mouth — usually a leaf and sometimes a piece of paper. Before you feed other dogs, you have to feed Tua Plu and his mom.”

Orawan shared a video of the dog’s thoughtful gesture, and it quickly spread like wildfire! The footage shows Tua Plu carrying a leaf down some stairs and placing it in front of his bowl of rice, making sure that Orawan sees it before he eats.

Orawan was so touched by Tua Plu’s gifts that she eventually decided to adopt him herself. This dog’s generosity and politeness got him the forever home that he always wanted!

Tua Plu has been living with Orawan a little over a year now, and he still brings her gifts when she feeds him! How sweet is that?!
