Though Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson divorced in 1996, rumors have been swirling in recent years that they are still in love and are planning to get back together. These rumors were stirred up once again this week when Andrew took to Twitter to send Sarah a personal birthday message.

“Happy birthday to @SarahTheDuchess. Wishing you a very happy day!” Andrew tweeted on Monday.

The wedding is believed to have been taken over the weekend during the celebration of the wedding of Princess Eugenie, who is the daughter of Andrew and Sarah. Royal fans immediately started speculating that the tweet meant that Andrew and Sarah still have feelings for one another.

“The love between you two is real, hurry up and get remarried please,” one social media user wrote, another adding, “Just marry again and make everyone happy.”

Rumors that Andrew and Sarah are still in love are nothing new. For one thing, the two still live together and are often spotted together in public. It has been theorized that the two are waiting to remarry until after the death of Andrew’s father Prince Philip, who has disliked Sarah ever since scandalous photos emerged of her with another man in 1992. Philip and a few other members of the royal family have never forgiven Sarah for what she did, but it seems that Andrew most certainly has.
