Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have been busy on their first royal tour. Not only that, but the Duke and Duchess of Sussex recently announced that they will be welcoming their first child this coming spring.

The couple have expressed their excitement about having a baby, and through their interaction with the children they have met on their tour, it’s clear that they will be amazing parents.

Meghan and Harry even broke royal protocol when they hugged a boy named Luke while in Dubbo, New South Wales. The five-year-old was fascinated with Harry’s beard and hair and was filmed rubbing his facial hair before hugging him.

This isn’t the only adorable encounter they’ve had this week either. Since arriving in Australia, they have been showered with gifts of stuffed animals, flowers, and tiaras for their upcoming little one.

However, there was one gift that Meghan received that stood out from the others. It was a gift from six-year-old Gavin Hazelwood in Melbourne. He was dressed in a Qantas pilot uniform and presented the Duchess with a handmade pasta necklace.

Reportedly Gavin woke up with a cough so he had to stay home from school. He whipped together the necklace in hopes of giving it to her soon. When Meghan received it, she didn’t hesitate to slip on the necklace and wear it with her Dion Lee navy dress.

Meghan is known for wearing jewelry that is sentimental to her. For example, a few days ago she was spotted wearing a pair of butterfly earrings that belonged to the late Princess Diana.

By wearing Gavin’s necklace, Meghan showed just how much she values and appreciates her fans. We can’t wait to see what else is in store for the couple. Their next stops are New Zealand, Fiji, and the Kingdom of Tonga.
