Mustering up the courage to audition for a show like “The Voice” is difficult for anyone. That’s why it is incredibly impressive when a child is able to take the stage and do it fearlessly.

In this video, you’ll meet a little girl named Anna, who had the guts to audition for “The Voice Kids.” She surprised everyone by deciding not to perform a modern song, and instead go with a tune that is almost 80 years-old!

Anna chose to audition with the song “Somewhere Over The Rainbow” from the classic Judy Garland film The Wizard of Oz. The song was written by Yip Harburg and Harold Arlen all the way back in 1939, and though it is almost 80 years-old, the song is still loved and known by people today.

While many versions of this song have been released over the years, few can compare to the one that Anna performs. She spent weeks practicing this song, and after she took the stage to perform the classic, it was clear that her hard work had paid off!

The judges were blown away by her performance, and Anna was able to move onto the next round! Her audition has since gone viral and been viewed over four million times, touching the hearts of people all over the world. It’s obvious to everyone that Anna has a long career in music ahead of her!
