Eddie Browning is a 61 year-old veteran of the United States Navy who has had a very difficult life. Though he served his country for years, he did not get much support when he returned home after serving.

Eddie and his wife Cindy soon found themselves struggling to survive as they lived in a dilapidated camper van in Georgia. They didn’t have the money to repair it, and they barely even could pay for food and other necessities.

The camper was so damaged that it could no longer produce heat, which meant that Eddie and Cindy had to sleep in freezing cold temperatures in the winter months. A veteran who has served his country deserves a whole lot more than this.

Eddie and Cindy had no idea that a group of elementary school students were about to change their lives forever! It all started in the spring of 2017, when Eddie and Cindy were invited to the Georgia Tiny Home Festival, which was being held at a farm. The Brownings thought that they were just going to look at the marvelous tiny homes people have built around the state, but the elementary school students had a big surprise in store for them!

Eddie and Cindy were stunned when they arrived at the festival only to be given a tiny home of their own!

“I don’t have the words to tell you what we feel,” Eddie said, with Cindy adding, “I couldn’t believe it. It’s a dream!”

The students at Elm Street Elementary school in Rome, Georgia had worked tirelessly to build the tiny home for the veteran and his wife!

“[This] will be warm. We’ve been freezing to death,” Eddie said.

We’re glad to see that this veteran is being given the respect and love that he deserves! Find out more about this in the video below.
