Home Depot workers often find themselves having to haul around mulch for customers. One employee who works in the gardening section of a Colorado Home Depot recently found something very unusual when he went to grab some mulch!

Inside the mulch display, the worker found baby raccoons huddled together! They could not have looked more adorable!

Their mother clearly worked very hard and did a lot of chewing to make this home for her kids.

Photos of the raccoons were posted to Imgur by user Elborrach0666, and social media users were very concerned about what became of the raccoons. They also wanted to know if their mother came back for them.

However, there’s no reason to fear about this, as someone put up a sign to discourage people from disturbing the babies’ beauty sleep.

Days went by and there was still no sign of the raccoons’ mother. This put the workers in a dilemma, as they needed to sell the mulch. That’s why they put on some thick gloves and scooped up the raccoons, and Elborrach0666 handed the babies, named, however, briefly, Rocket, Nibbler Jr., and Nacho, over to the Division of Wildlife.

How cute are they?!

Officials then set up a trap for their mother so that the family could be reunited. We’re glad to see that they are all back together now!

We applaud these Home Depot employees for going above and beyond to help these raccoons. We hope that this little family is enjoying their new home, wherever they are now!
